Noke U – Lock - Last year,
we introduced you to the Noke Padlock. Your support made Noke a huge success
and caused the tech world to take notice. Noke went on to win the CES Design
and Engineering Award and Engadget's Insert Coin people's choice award. So we
thought it was time to bring you the next member of the Noke family.
The Noke
U-Lock incorporates all the awesome features that make the padlock so amazing
and encases them inside a virtually indestructible steel alloy housing. In case
that wasn't enough, we added an integrated alarm that will send would-be
intruders running for cover. Strong, water resistant, attractive, included bike
mount, the Noke U-Lock has it all.
Using your
phone's Bluetooth Smart connection and the Noke app (iOS, Android, or Windows
Phone) you can effortlessly open your Noke U-Lock with the push of a button.
Your smartphone replaces your keys forever.
At the press
of a button, Noke wakes up and searches for your phone or a shared phone. If the
phone is within a few feet, Noke instantly unlocks so you can be on your way.
No need to re-launch the app or remove your phone from your pocket or purse. It
even works when your phone is asleep. If you'd like to add an extra layer of
security, you can disable the auto-unlock feature and require the press of a
button in the app to open Noke.
