The New HTC ONE M10 Review | New Features And Specifications | HTC M10

HTC ONE M10 - HTC officially unveiled the smartphone HTC One M9 in first week of March. Due to the huge number of leaks we already know most of the technical characteristics. The new HTC One codenamed One M9 is a lot like last year’s model M8. Change in appearance can be counted on the fingers of one hand: the power button has changed its location, thinner frames and the presence of a company logo on the front panel, for which HTC has not cursed just lazy.
Diagonal of the screen resolution remained same at 5 inches and 1980 x 1080 resolution (disappointment as no 2K resolution display). But the rest of the specs are fully updated. The basis is a single-chip smartphone platform Snapdragon 810, a configuration that includes an 8-core processor. In a processor has 3 GB of RAM. The amount of internal flash memory is 32 GB. There is an opportunity to expand the internal memory using memory cards microSD.
For the good sound, it has pair of front stereo speakers – this time supplemented by technology support Dolby Audio. With the release of HTC One M9 Taiwanese manufacturer has expanded color gamut of the flagship smartphones, adding to the existing dark gray and silver two-tone silver-even gold version. The most significant change has occurred on the camera.

OnePlus 3 Hand On Review Launch On July 2016 Android

OnePlus 3 - OnePlus 3 price and release dateJudging from the timeframes OnePlus worked under for theOnePlus Oneand OnePlus 2, many informed commentators would estimate that the OnePlus 3 release date will fall in summer 2016. There's no information on the OnePlus 3 price yet, but we would expect it to offer similarly good value to its predecessors.
OnePlus 3 designSome early conceptual renders of the OnePlus 3 design were leaked in December 2015. They leave much to the imagination, but it would appear that the company has discarded its trademark sandstone black back in favor of black brushed steel. What the sheer white face on the left-hand render below means is anyone's guess.
The renders do clearly show that the fingerprint scanner no longer sits at thebase of the front of the device, leading to speculation over how the company plans for the new device to be unlocked. It's possible that it could employ iris-recognition technology or even an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor embedded below the screen.
Excitingly, front-facing speakers can clearly be seen below the screen. OnePlus 3 specsNothing about the OnePlus 3 specs has been confirmed, although we're hopeful that the new device will use Qualcomm's best chip, theSnapdragon 820. Previous models in the series usedthe cursed Snapdragon 810, despite its overheating problems, but the new generation chip should solve this issue and allow for better performance. We'd also expect the new phone to employ a USB type C port, as its predecessor did.

MagBak The Best iPhone Car Mount

MagBak - MagBak Sticks Your iPad To Your Fridge, Your Hands, Your Smart Cover : Apparently, the hot new thing is to stick your iPad to the kitchen wall and then immediately start chopping red peppers. Luckily for those new to this emerging fashion, there is both a product and an instructional video available to help out. The product is the MagBak, and it consists of a pair of rubbery, magnetized pads that stick onto the back of the iPad.
I’m kidding about the peppers (although if you watch the video, you’ll see a lot of kitchen-wall-sticking-and-quick-start-pepper-chopping going on. But of course capsicum decapitation is merely one use for this clever Kickstarter project. The MagBak’s magnets are not only strong enough to stick it to the door of a refrigerator, but thanks to their grippy silica surface they will also stop it sliding around smooth surfaces, and it also works great to hold the Smart Cover open, preventing excessive flapping around as you read.
The MagBak also comes with a metal ring which you can stick to any old wall (although a kitchen wall is obviously best, as the kitchen is where the peppers get chopped). One MagBak (with ring) will cost you $34, or $24 if you get in early. I actually think it looks pretty neat, although I reckon a version for the iPad mini would be even better.

Mighty – Streaming Music Without Your Phone

MightyMighty is the first and only device that takes your streaming music on-the-go without being connected to a smartphone. Lightweight, durable, and small enough to clip-on to any piece of clothing, it's the perfect device for your active life. Mighty comes equipped with Bluetooth and WiFi, is compatible with iPhones and Androids, and can play 48 hours of music without any internet connection. All for under $80.
Mighty was born from personal frustration with the current on-the-go music experience. Today, every option to stream music while exercising requires a bulky, fragile smartphone. And phones are only getting larger, more fragile, more expensive, and more battery hungry. This motivated us to create a simple product that provides users with a comfortable and seamless music+fitness experience, all without a phone.
The first version of Mighty will aim to integrate with Spotify only, but we plan on expanding our support to additional streaming music services in the near future. Integration with new music services will not require new hardware and can be done remotely through a software update. If you’re a user of Spotify and have been asking yourself “why doesn’t this exist?!?”, please help us make Mighty a reality. Say goodbye to your iPod Shuffle, leave your smartphone at home, and Be Mighty!

QuietOn – Active Noise Cancelling Earplugs

QuietOnQuietOn is an earplug that combines active noise cancellation and acoustic noise attenuation to create silence. The earplugs have no wires and are small enough to fit in your ears, enabling you to comfortably sleep with your head on a pillow. The noise cancellation is optimized to reduce noises that affect sleep, such as noise coming through walls and snoring.
Continuous exposure to noise results in significantly raised stress levels and presents a significant barrier to restful sleep, relaxation, or mental focus. QuietOn is an earplug that combines active noise cancellation and acoustic noise attenuation to create silence. These wireless earplugs are designed to fit perfectly in your ears, enabling you to comfortably sleep with your head on a pillow or enjoy some much-needed silence while you work or travel.

Nokia C1 Android Smartphone Introduction

Nokia C1 - For those of use who though that since Microsoft has acquired the mobile division of Nokia, the brand has ceased to exist, we could not be any more wrong. The Finnish handset maker launched its first ever Nokia branded Android tablet called Nokia N1 in November 2014. Now the speculations are riff that Nokia is working on an Android smartphone as well and recently few leaked images surfaced on the World Wide Web, which confirmed the speculations. The device is being called Nokia C1 and here is a brief overview of the handset.

One of the strong points of Nokia handsets was that they were so sturdily built that it is nearly impossible to destroy them. It is expected that the new Android device from the brand will come with the same build quality but more in line with Lumia handsets. It is also expected that the handset would come with a metal unibody chassis, ruling out the possibility of removable battery.

It is being speculated that Nokia will endow the upcoming C1 smartphone with a decent sized 5 inch display. The display of the handset is expected to come with a HD resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels, which together with the size of the display make for a stunning viewing experience. Since the last update for Android was Lollipop and by the time Nokia C1 sees the daylight, Android Marshmallow would have been released.

Microsoft Surface Phone Android Smartphone Introduction

Microsoft Surface Phone - Microsoft has been hammering away at its selection of smartphones since it bought Nokia two years ago, and 2016 could see the introduction of a new model: The Surface Phone. The device, which has not been announced or officially recognised by Microsoft, would be roughly designed around the Surface tablets, could be aimed at businesses, and would aim to turn the company’s failing smartphone efforts around.
Windows phones currently account for around 1.7% of the worldwide smartphone market, according to Gartner, and it has become a point of contention for Microsoft as a whole. Here’s everything we know about the Surface Phone: Microsoft has a big presence at Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona, Spain, and could be looking to introduce two high-end Lumia devices. The event occurs in late February.
The announcement of a brand new Surface Phone may overshadow the Lumia devices, but the eyes of the media will be watching and Microsoft could be looking to take drastic steps to get Windows phones back on track. If Microsoft decides not to announce a Surface Phone at MWC, the announcement could be made at Build, the company's big developer conference, in April.

HTC One M10 Android Smartphone Introduction

OnePlus 3 Android Smartphone Introduction

OnePlus 3 - Introducing the brand to the whole world without running the expensive promotional programs is something that made OnePlus stand out from any other companies that ever took birth in the technology industry. Great marketing coupled with the best piece of technology and that too at an believable price of half the other manufacturers. Bringing in the real different ways of promotion, OnePlus first came in lime light with the introduction of their unique promotion strategy. Flowing in the great specs for their first device the OnePlus One, company restricted users to buy the device off the shelf or any online store.

Rather OnePlus kept their way of selling a phone very unique. One more challenge that brought out the birth of this amazing marketing campaign was low production capacity. OnePlus had it very clear at the very initial stage that wanted to make it an international brand but due to limited production this was not as easy. The solution to their worries was the unique “Invite System”. This made them control the number of devices they wanted to roll out in the market and where. Scarcity in the market for the phone acted as a great tool of WoM marketing. Facebook was flooding with Facebook posts of people asking for invites.

With the recent funding of a Billion Dollars, company today is estimated with a worth of over $46 Billion, and for a 4 year old company this is no less than epic.

100 Million phones in the market, covering just a few Asian countries is surely an achievement. Xiaomi this time is moving out of their popular markets and introducing Xiaomi Mi5 to the world.  Xiaomi Mi5 is launched today in Barcelona Mobile World Congress and will be available in newer markets like US, UK, Germany, Turkey, Russia, Philippines,  Thailand, Spain, Portugal, France, Greece, Czech Republic, Vietnam, Croatia, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka to name a few. Company had earlier made it clear that they won’t to be restricted to Asian markets this time. Xiaomi today stands at a very successful position, scale of their success can be judged by the sales they are doing in countries like India, where none of their product stayed in stock for more than 5 seconds besides having huge numbers to sell.

Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge Android Smartphone Introduction

Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge - Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge and Samsung Galaxy S7 are Android smartphones manufactured and marketed by Samsung Electronics. The S7 series is a successor to the 2015 Galaxy S6, S6 Edge and S6 Edge+, and was officially unveiled on 21 February 2016 during a Samsung press conference at Mobile World Congress, with a European and North American release scheduled for 11 March 2016 As with the S6, the S7 is produced in a standard model, as well as an "Edge" variant whose screen is wrapped along the sides of the device.

Moisture in the charging port prevents the phone from charging.

In The Worst Case The Most Annoying Thing About Captchas

In the worst case, the most annoying thing about captchas is that when they are not implemented properly, there is data loss. Consider the case when your captcha is next to illegible and/or when after the captchas is filled incorrectly, all the data on the form is wiped out and the mad user has to start from scratch. What do you think - how many of the users will bother to refill the form just to buy something from you, for example?

Captchas are bad from usability point of view and as already mentioned, if they stop search engine spiders from indexing pages behind the captcha, they are bad for SEO as well. However, the real damage is done when you consider conversions. Captchas simply kill conversions and probably this is their worst disadvantage in terms of SEO.

Lost conversions matter more than spam. Spam might be irritating but it doesn't kill your business the way lack of conversions does. While the results vary from site to site, when captchas are on, this could decrease conversions big time. For instance, if you have a captcha on a newsletter signup form, this could cut your subscribers in half because many users won't even bother to try their luck with the captcha. If you have a captcha on a shopping site, this might spare you some fake orders but the number of frustrated customers will be times higher than this.

When The Web Began To Develop At Rocket Speed At The End

When the Web began to develop at rocket speed at the end of the last century, so did spam. Spam quickly turned into a nightmare for many sites and webmasters desperately sought a solution to the spam problem. Such a solution was offered quickly and it was called CAPTCHA (Completely Automated Public Turing test to tell Computers and Humans Apart). The function of captchas was to stop spambots from doing their jobs.

As it turned out pretty soon, spambots (and their creators) aren't that stupid and they quickly figured out ways to outfox captchas. Nevertheless, captchas still manage to filter at least a portion of the spam a site is getting and this is why they are still in business.

However, this comes at a price. Captchas stop not only spambots but they are an obstacle to legit human visitors as well. What is worse, captchas stop only humans but search engine bots as well. If you have content that is accessible only after a captcha is entered correctly, it's quite obvious this content is out of reach for search engine spiders who even if they could, wouldn't bother with filling in captchas ?? they just move to the next site that is more welcoming.

Optimize Your Sites Code And Images

Optimize Your Site's Code and Images - Your server might be fast but if your site itself is slow, you will still experience speed issues. If your code and images are not optimized for fast loading, you won't see speed improvements till you fix them. This task could take a very, very long time, especially if your code and images are bloated but you've got to do it.

For images, you can use compression and/or smaller sizes. This will speed loading big time. For HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP and other Web languages there are tons of tricks (and tools) how to optimize your code.

Website speed is not a factor with huge importance for search engine rankings, though it does count. The bigger problem with slow sites is that they are not user–friendly, which in turn kills conversions. If you don't want to lose money because of the speed issues of your site, take the time to fix them – it will pay in the long run.

On the other hand, if your web hosting provider is not good even if you upgrade your account, this won't solve your problem. The only thing you can do is migrate your sites to a good web hosting provider. Here is a list of some of the best web hosting providers for you to choose from.

Tuesday 15 March 2016

What To Do To Improve Website Speed

Measure Load Times :- In order to measure load times, you need a good tool. The choice here is quite rich. Pingdom Page Load Time tool and Google Analytics Site Speed reports give a good idea of your site's general performance. Web Page Test is a more advanced tool because it allows to test your site in different browsers and spot slow areas on your site.

These tests could take some time for a large site but since they give you detailed data about which parts are slow, just be patient. Good tools report not only the average site speed but elements, such as first byte, user time, time to fully load, percentage of images, htmls, JavaScript files, etc., which is useful later when you start fixing the problematic areas.

Move to a Faster Server :- One of the obvious reasons a site is slow is that the server you are hosting it on is slow. The reasons here could be numerous – from a web hosting provider that lacks the capacity to offer fast servers, to the type of your hosting account.

The easier solution here is to upgrade your account. For instance, if you have a large site with many pages and frequent database reads/writes and you are still using a shared account, then no provider to Earth can offer the speed you need. In this case, if you are happy with the provider per se, your solution is to upgrade from a shared account to VPS (Virtual Private Server) or even to a dedicated server. The costs for VPS or a dedicated server a month are much higher than what you are paying for your shared account but if your site is making you money (or at least has the potential to), the problem with website speed is literally killing your business.

First If You Expected That Website Speed Influences Your Rankings Big Time

First, if you expected that website speed influences your rankings big time, we need to clarify that this isn't so. While the two are related, you won't find a direct correlation – i.e. low ranking sites might load fast and vice versa.

The results depend on which metric you use to measure website speed. For instance, if you take into account the time needed to load the first byte of the page, then it turns out this is a huge factor because sites that are fast to load the first byte of a page typically rank higher in Google.

If you take other metrics into account – i.e. the time necessary to load the main content or the time it takes to load the complete page (with images and ads), then things change because it seems these two factors are not of that importance to Google.

Overall, it's believed that website speed has less than 1% effect on rankings. Google themselves have stated that they take website speed into account but they didn't disclose details about exactly what matters.

Nevertheless, many sites report increase in traffic (from search engines or otherwise) after they optimize their site for speed. This is a pretty good reason to do the same, if your site is slow – you are not doing it for Google, you are doing it for your users, your traffic, and your conversions. Website speed is key to user experience, so if your site is slow, there is no reason to keep it that way. What's the use of getting traffic from search engines, when your visitors have to hang for 10+ seconds before they can see your content – they will have left much before the page has loaded.

While You Sometimes Can Benefit From Search Engine Algorithm Changes

While you sometimes can benefit from search engine algorithm changes because these changes bury your competitors and take you up in search results without any effort on your part, this is pure luck and you can't rely on it. If you don't want to experience the negative effects of algorithm changes to the max, you need to be proactive and take the steps listed in this article. Unfortunately, even if you do, you still can't say you are fully covered but at least you will have the consolation that you did what could be done.

Keyword research is a make-or-break stage in any SEO campaign. If you do it wrong, all your efforts (and money) are in vain. This is why you need a reliable keyword research tool. For many years THE tool for keyword volume research was the Free Keyword Tool from Google and it was all we needed but unfortunately this great tool is history now.

The good news, though is that fortunately there are alternatives for keyword volume research. For instance, the new tool from Google with similar functionality Google Keyword Planner does many of the things the old tool did but unfortunately it is more suitable for PPC keyword research than for organic SEO research. There are also other tools, such as Bing Keyword Tool, or WordTracker Keyword tool, or the numerous paid tools and each of them has its advantages as disadvantages, as we'll see next.

In Order To Avoid Links From Bad Sites You Can Use Various Tools To Discover

In order to avoid links from bad sites, you can use various tools to discover who is linking to you. When you encounter a link you don't want, contact the web master of the site and ask him or her to have it removed.

If you haven't figured this out so far, let's tell it directly - free search engine traffic is great but it's unreliable. No matter how great your site is and how masterfully you are trying to protect yourself against search engine algorithm changes, you are never immune. If you want constant traffic to your site, start using PPC. We've put a detailed tutorial on Google AdWords. If you are not familiar with PPC at all, you can start with this tutorial.

It's the same here don't put all your eggs in one basket, i.e. don't get all your traffic from search engines. When you start diversifying your traffic sources, the first option is PPC (which costs money but generally it brings targeted traffic) and the second option is social media. Sites, such as Facebook, Twitter, Tumbler etc. are free to use and they can bring you lots of traffic, if your posts become popular. However, usually the traffic from social sites isn't targeted and conversions might be low but still these sites are a viable alternative.

With Those Tips In Mind Crafting A Good Article Should Be Simple

With those tips in mind, crafting a good article should be simple. Now to address the next piece of the puzzle: getting your content seen. Along with cross-posting and social media, optimizing your content for search engines is a proven way to place your work before a new audience. By optimizing your content to appear more often in search engine recommendations, you will be increasing both the visibility and trustworthiness of your brand.

Choose organic: Incorporating highly visible, popular SEO keywords into your articles is one of the best ways to drive up your recommendations. Major caveat: these keywords need to be included in a way that feels organic to the subject matter. They mustn't stand out or be jarring to the reader. Readers, especially those who spend a lot of time in the digital world, are extremely capable of noticing if you’ve just stuffed your work full of words you hope will drive up visibility.

Keyword placement: Make sure you optimize the placement of keywords in your SEO articles by putting them in your titles and subtitles. Create a hierarchy of keywords and use the most search
generating up front. Be sure to use your most important keywords in the title.

Picture this: Include images with alt text to get your page showing up in image searches as well. Images will also break up the text in a dynamic way. Image-driven content is getting more and more play as a digital marketing technique and it is especially suited to viral content.

Less Competitive Keywords Might Be Not Long Tail

Less competitive keywords might be not long tail but they also tend to suffer less from search engine updates. The explanation is easy for example, if there are 10 sites that compete for a keyword, even if Google updates their algorithm and shuffles results, the worst that can happen to you is to rank 10th, which is much better than to rank in the second hundred, as is quite possible with keywords that have hundreds of sites competing for them.

All equal, huge intervals between new posts can literally bury your site even for keywords you always used to rank well for and even if there are no search engine algorithm changes. While you can't beat these changes solely by posting new content all the time simply because it takes time for new posts to rank well, new content is fresh blood and it does bring traffic. As we've mentioned multiple times, it's better to post one new content piece a week or even a month than to post no content for months and then pour 20 new content pieces at once.

The days when any backlink was good are history. Now links from bad or simply irrelevant sites can hurt you badly. This is why, you need to get backlinks from high ranking, relevant sites only. In addition to the juice they pass, these sites tend not to lose their own rankings that frequently and as a result your own rankings will fluctuate less. Also, once an A List site puts a link, they will hardly remove it just to protect their own rankings, as some of the other sites will do.

Use Sub Domains For Larger Topics ‐ I.E. If You Have A Health Site

Use sub domains for larger topics i.e. if you have a health site, it makes sense to create separate domains for each major group of diseases (i.e. cardiovascular, respiratory, etc.) and then create a sub folder for the separate diseases in this group (i.e. heart attack, flu, etc.)

Also, as already mentioned, if your site has a forum and or/a a blog in addition to your corporate pages, you should use sub domains for the forum and the blog i.e. forum.domain.com and blog.domain.com.

Of course, these are just general recommendations and you don't have to follow them blindly. As usual, the ultimate test is to try and see what works for you and what doesn't.

When you want to increase the traffic from search engines, your first idea might be that if you manage to rank for more keywords, you will get more traffic. Could be (especially if the keywords are not closely related) but basically this isn't necessarily so.

You might think that when you expand into new keywords, this will increase traffic but actually it's just the opposite these new keywords will dilute the relevancy of your present keywords and as a result you might lose some of the traffic you already have. So, before you target some new keywords, always be ready to back off, if results turn out to be worse than expected.

Long tail keywords are frequently neglected because they don't bring as much traffic as their more lucrative counterparts. However, long tail keywords are more proof against changes in algorithms. The traffic of long tail keywords tends to fluctuate less because there is less competition. If you have been skipping long tail keywords up to now, start optimizing for them asap.
